Jack met up with his preschool friend, Elliott, at Monkey Joe's - an indoor bounce house. Flat Stanley came with us too. Jack loves to run around, slide, jump and play games at Monkey Joe's.

Flat Stanley Sees a Play at the Theater

Flat Stanley visited the Orlando Repertory Theatre with Jack and his friend David today. They saw the play, "If You Give A Pig A Party," which is based on the book of the same name by Laura Numeroff. This was Jack's second play he's seen there and he's loved them both.

Flat Stanley Has Fun at the Orlando Science Center

Jack has an annual pass to the Orlando Science Center. It's one of his favorite places to go, because he loves science. He especially loves the dinosaur exhibit, the planes that you can get in and make believe you are the pilot and the alligator feedings. They actually feed the alligators live crickets!

Flat Stanley joined us this time and so did Jack's classmate and friend, Ethan.

Flat Stanley visited the Mall Play Area with Jack and his friend, J.R.

We have beautiful weather almost year round in Orlando, but every once in a while it's too cold, too hot or too rainy to play outside at our beautiful parks, so we head over to the mall play area to have some fun with friends. We usually play for a while then get lunch at Jack's favorite place to eat, Chick-fil-A.

Flat Stanley Goes to the Park

Jack took Flat Stanley to the Maitland Community Park. He met all of Jack's friends from playgroup too. It's a really nice park that is surrounded by trees, which is really nice during the hot summers here in Central Florida.

Flat Stanley's Trip to Orlando

Flat Stanley made the 688 mile trip from Vacherie to Orlando to visit Jack. It would have taken about 10 1/2 hours to drive, but it probably took 2-3 days by mail.

Jack was excited to introduce Flat Stanley to all the things he loves to do around Central Florida, but first, he needed to get him "dressed up" for his trip. Jack used Disney stickers (since Disney World is in Orlando) from some of his favorite movies - Wall-E, The Incredibles, Cars, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille...
